Who are we?
Who are Plume Perdue and Youri V.?
Plume Perdue
My real name is Hans van Roon. I work under the pseudonym “Plume Perdue”. Drawing & cartoons are things that have enriched my life for as long as I can remember. My advice: ‘Grab a pencil and start drawing! Show what you want to say!’
In the luxury banking world, which I enjoyed for more than 25 years, I have held numerous seminars and other events (where you can quickly rise to level 3 according to Maslow…). It was a fantastic period where I gained and learned a lot. Unfortunately, a lot of (boring) pictures, a lot of models, and many pages full of explanations with only text. This is exactly the reason why I (almost) never went to school/college. Back then, I thought: “How can we share this knowledge about business concepts in a fun way with others?”
We created a site with cartoons of management models. We work Agile and release funny new things every sprint. The development of the site – and everything surrounding it – is also new to us as you can come up with fun ideas. If it fits, if it works, if it’s allowed, if we want it, etc., we put it on the backlog and it can get a spot in the roadmap. I, Plume, am the Product Owner. You can always call me directly (+31 6 5383 5683) to share your great idea! Email: info@models2use.com. The product specialist is Youri V.
We create cartoons with sometimes a ‘stimulus’ for thought in the cartoon/description. We (try to) never offend anyone. Our goal is simply to make you think so you can have your own “observed opinion” about it!! If you see offensive text or other issues, just call us. That’s not what we want!
Youri V.
My name is Youri, with a background in ICT, I am the one who makes sure the website runs the way it should. But I also enjoy thinking along about everything that comes with it, from design to how we can make the cartoons work best. Together with Plume, who has been working on this concept for many years, we are trying to turn dry theories into cartoons that people hopefully learn from and can laugh at.
